Driftwood as Art & DIY Tutorial

snow covered trees

Oh Spring, where art thou?  I’m so ready for sunny days so I can get out on the beach and collect some driftwood!  It rained for 24 hours yesterday and I woke up to snow blanketing everything today.  Don’t get me wrong, I love snow and we don’t get that much of it, but my heart is longing to get creative with driftwood and I just don’t have any! Whoa is me ;)

Take a look at some of these fun driftwood inspiration pieces.

Okay, who are we kidding. I’m not up to making anything nearly this grand, but isn’t it grand! These were created by an amazing artist that combines her love of driftwood and art, Heather Jansch.

Another amazing piece of art by Heather Jansch.

This Driftwood Seahorse comes to you via NotOnTheHighStreet.com and costs $746.74.  I think I could make one like this for much less.
This is a great inspiration piece!

This cute heart looks beautifully simple so I had to question the $320.03 price tag.  Well… just look at the image below and you’ll understand it!

It’s bigger than you imagined, right?  It comes to us from NotOnTheHighStreet.com. We could make that, right? Yep, I think we could!

Hi Marie, I’m having a great week, sans the rain and snow. And how are you doing in your neck of the woods? Are you getting snow up your way?
