I’ve never particularly been a grey decor kinda gal — maybe because I grew up in Northern Oregon where there are grey skies for 8 months out of the year! I like things sunny and bright and cheery. And turquoise. I heart turquoise!! Having said that, I’ve been seeing more and more beautifully coastal decor in shades of grey that have my heart skipping a beat or two. And then… this kitchen showed up in my inbox… and all of a sudden it’s a full on crush… BIG TIME!
Seriously, what’s not to love in this kitchen — from the depth of color in the cabinetry … to the oversized blown glass pendant lights … to the metallic silver {painted} range hood … to the gorgeous marble counter tops and backsplash. Love is in the details and this kitchen abounds in love-ly details. What’s not to love, I dare say!!

That IS a beautiful kitchen. I like gray but I use it in smaller doses.

I spent too many years with too much gloom on the Oregon coast. I need things that are light and airy.
Good point Jeannie. I was just talking with someone else about all the grey days on the Oregon coast. I still think this could work because it’s such a deep, rich grey… and it’s offset with the brightness of the ivory cabinets and light walls.
Hmmm… I’m tempted
