I love, love, love this gorgeous living room designed by Miami designer, Cindy Ray, but I’ve got to admit — the all white furniture wouldn’t be at all practical with the eight little feet (2 adorable dachshunds) that “own” my home.
What I do love that I could do — is the recessed, wood paneled ceiling. I also love the big central ottoman — I had one of these in my home and it was wonderful! And aren’t the little blue “star” stools sweet? It’s the perfect touch to anchor that side of the seating area. And, of course, need I even mention the wrap around windows? L.O.V.E.
Did you notice the wood flooring is installed on the diagonal? Smart. Diagonal installation makes any room appear more spacious. I did this in my home, and it works brilliantly.
Don’t you love how the galley kitchen has multiple galley lights in the ceiling? I do! And again, I love the wood paneling on the ceiling that gives it that “beach house” feeling.
This round foyer is amazing! Be still my heart!
This bedroom feels so peaceful and the bed is very similar to this at Crate and Barrel, but if $1,600 is more than you’d want to invest, you could make the headboard yourself following a tutorial that Kate from Centsational Girl posted.
A bottle of wine, fresh fruit, a few good books, and a never ending view of the ocean … color me h.a.p.p.y!
What a gorgeous home! A girl can dream, can’t she?
